UPPSC LT Grade Assistant Teacher Result 2026

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 Years

• Maximum Age: 40 Years

• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per UP Government rules.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has prescribed the following eligibility criteria for the Assistant Teacher (LT Grade) Recruitment 2025.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.

• A B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree recognized by NCTE is mandatory for most subjects.

  Subject-Wise Qualification (Examples)

  • Hindi: Bachelor's degree with Hindi as a subject and Intermediate with Sanskrit (or equivalent).

  • English: Bachelor's degree with English Literature.

  • Mathematics: Bachelor's degree with Mathematics as a subject.

  • Science: Bachelor's degree with Physics and Chemistry as subjects.

  • Social Science: Bachelor's degree with at least two subjects among History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics.

  • Computer: B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science), B.Sc Computer Science, BCA, or equivalent prescribed qualification.

  • Commerce: Bachelor's degree in Commerce.

  • Biology: Bachelor's degree with Zoology and Botany.

  Important Note

  UPPSC has emphasized that only the specified subject qualifications will be accepted. General "equivalent qualifications" are generally not considered unless specifically mentioned in the notification.
